Visuals are here!

It was way, way, WAY overdue, but better late than never - live projected visuals are now (venue-permitting) a permanent fixture of my live shows!

Until now, I’ve only had video on occasion, it’s always been dependent on someone showing up with a projector, and it’s always been random stuff that I’ve actually seen almost none of. This summer I decided I really wanted this to be a permanent fixture of the show, done right, so I made a months-long project out of making a dedicated visual tailored to each song.

Last month’s show at Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro, NC was their first proper time onstage and I’m thrilled with the feedback I’ve gotten, so I’ve also decided to post some of them as well.

Here’s my favorite one, for “Giant Robot Apocalypse.” I’ve been wanting to make this video for like a decade and I’m super proud of how it turned out - basically a love letter to all our favorite giant robots in movies and anime.

You can find this and several others in this playlist on YouTube.

Really excited to have finally made this a reality and I can’t wait to do more shows with them - there are plenty I haven’t gotten to play live yet and I can’t wait to show off the rest!
