A few days late updating the blog, but holy shit: the music of the Undisclosed podcast has been nominated at the 21st annual Webby Awards, in the category of Best Sound Design/ Original Music Score in podcasts and digital audio.
It's an honor to be a part of this team and not one that I take lightly. While I've had a blast contributing theme and background music to the show, I can't stress enough that this nomination is not just for me; there are a number of other artists whose music has been featured on the show.
That said - we would like to win this thing. If you can find a moment, click here to go vote for Undisclosed for the People's Voice at Webby's!
The amazing Blake T. Brady has created a lyric video/visual for Turn the Lights Down. Some of this is some cool "found footage" that Blake dug up; some of it we shot ourselves just on our iPhones, because that's a thing now. I plan to shoot an actual music video for this song, too, and Blake's visuals are very in line with the theme of the song and what that second video is going to look like. Oh, and PS, this will also be shown at shows for live performances of this song.
Hope you enjoy it!
The soundtrack for Season 1 of Undisclosed is now available. The album features two new tracks from myself, "Lo-Rent" and "Deploy Airbags" as well as music from Ramiro Marquez and Marion LoGuidice.
My new EP, Flares and Signal Fires, is out NOW.
This is the culmination of several years of my life and kind of a document of some of the best and worst and weirdest times I've ever had, and I'm proud of it and happy it's finally out there. There are about a million obstacles; this almost didn't happen for so many reasons, but I'm so happy it did. I hope you like it.
